These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Ally Window Cleaning website and, together with an accepted estimate, proposal, work order, or other written agreement, govern services provided by Ally Window Cleaning. If a signed or accepted written agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the written agreement controls for that project.
Estimates and Scope
Estimates are based on information available when they are prepared, including descriptions, counts, photos, plans, walkthroughs, and visible site conditions. An estimate is not binding until accepted in the manner stated on the estimate and remains subject to any stated expiration date.
The approved estimate defines the work included. Additional windows, services, labor, access equipment, waiting time, parking, permits, building requirements, or conditions not reasonably visible or disclosed may require a revised price or change order. We will seek authorization before performing material additional work when practical.
Scheduling and Access
Service dates and arrival windows are subject to crew availability, traffic, weather, building access, equipment availability, and site conditions. Customers must provide safe and timely access to the work areas and disclose relevant building rules, hazards, alarms, damaged components, specialty coatings, and access limitations.
We may postpone, modify, or decline work when weather, access, surface conditions, building systems, or other circumstances make the planned work impractical or inappropriate.
Customer Responsibilities
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for:
- Providing accurate property and service information
- Obtaining building, landlord, association, tenant, or other necessary permissions
- Providing access to the property and work areas
- Moving fragile or valuable items away from windows and work areas
- Identifying known damage, loose glass, failed seals, damaged screens, difficult windows, alarms, films, coatings, or other special conditions
- Securing pets and maintaining a reasonably safe work area
- Providing water or electrical access when the accepted scope states that it is required
Window and Surface Conditions
Normal window cleaning is intended to remove ordinary dirt and residue. It may not remove mineral deposits, oxidation, paint, adhesive, mortar, silicone, staining, scratches, etching, failed seals, or other defects. Restoration and post-construction work must be specifically included in the approved scope.
Older, damaged, poorly maintained, improperly installed, or defective windows, screens, storms, frames, seals, hardware, films, coatings, and surrounding surfaces may be fragile. We may decline to operate, remove, scrape, or treat a component when the risk of damage is unreasonable. Pre-existing defects may become more visible after cleaning.
Pricing and Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless a different arrangement is stated in the accepted estimate, invoice, or written agreement. The customer is responsible for approved charges and applicable taxes.
No general deposit, late, cancellation, rescheduling, or card-processing fee applies. Any project-specific charge or payment schedule must be disclosed in writing before the customer accepts the work.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. A commercial or specialty project may have project-specific equipment, permit, mobilization, or scheduling terms only when those terms are disclosed in writing before acceptance.
Results and Service Concerns
We aim to complete the approved scope professionally. If you believe an included area was missed or requires attention, contact us within 48 hours with the property address, a description, and photos when possible. After reviewing the concern, Ally will return to correct missed work that was included in the approved scope when appropriate.
No guarantee applies to permanent staining, scratches, etching, failed seals, construction defects, damaged components, or conditions outside the approved scope. Any written project-specific warranty or service commitment controls over general website language.
Insurance and Project Conditions
Ally Window Cleaning carries general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. Certificates of insurance are available upon request. We may stop, postpone, or modify work when conditions are not appropriate for the planned access or service method.
